Bristol Dental Specialists have improved digital communications for patients thanks to Microsoft and other technologies and systems we have implemented. We are proud to be recognised in this month’s ‘Microsoft News’ feature. In our digital-first approach to dentistry we have introduced Microsoft teams and Sway cloud-based sharing. We are delighted with the positive response we have had from our patients.
To improve communications and build trust with current and potential patients we have been utilising video calls to host dental consultations. This has allowed us to remain efficient and discuss personalised treatment plans, it has reduced waiting times, travel expenses and even patient anxiety levels. These initial consultations provide a chance to discuss the treatment journey, costs involved and helps to alleviate any worries a patient might have.
Due to the increased online contact with patients, we have been able to streamline our specialist dentistry processes enabling us to provide the care patients need as quickly as possible. As a multi-disciplinary specialist practice, we represent 8 of the 13 specialisms recognised by the GDC, we have found the move to digital over physical communication incredibly advantageous. We believe we have created a more eco-friendly and practical dental process for our patients, and ourselves, as preparation and planning time has been significantly reduced.
There is no doubt that Microsoft technology has helped businesses in all industries to create a stronger bond with their clients. We are a relatively new practice and are still developing our client base, Microsoft technologies has helped us manage and provide treatment for more than 100 new patients a month referred from dental surgeries around the UK. We want to thank Microsoft for enabling us to provide our teams wealth of experience in orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and radiology, to the people that need it.
We accept referrals from dental practices in Bristol and throughout the South West and South Wales, we also welcome direct patients who can refer themselves directly from the Bristol Dental Specialists website. Digital technology allows us to hold initial consultations online - simple, informative and personalised to each patient book yours here.
