Dental Implants For All Your Teeth

For those who wear dentures, opting for multiple dental implants to restore either the upper arch, lower arch, or both can truly be transformative…

Replacing All Your Teeth With Dental Implants

For those who have lost all their teeth and seek an alternative to dentures, dental implants could offer the ideal solution. While conventional dentures have long been the standard for replacing multiple missing teeth, they can often be uncomfortable and cause self-consciousness. Dental implants, however, provide a natural look and feel akin to your original teeth.

In some cases, individuals may have several failing teeth that require extraction. In such instances, a conventional denture may serve as an interim measure before undergoing the complete dental implant process. This initial denture not only aids in teeth extraction but also guides the placement of dental implants and offers a preview of the final restoration’s appearance.

Fixed or removable

When replacing all upper and lower teeth, there are two main options available: a completely fixed reconstruction or a precision-retained removable reconstruction.

A fixed reconstruction remains in the mouth at all times and does not need to be removed. On the other hand, a precision-retained removable reconstruction functions similarly to a fixed bridge but allows for the replacement of bone without the need for bone grafting. This option is particularly suitable for elderly patients or those unfit for general anaesthesia. It typically involves placing between four and six dental implants, as not every tooth needs to be replaced with an implant.
